TAA = Ghosting on. Which defeats the purpose of using OLED in the first place. The ghosting is worse Imao then FXAAs blurring. I prefer real AA, like MSAA or SS if there is none available.

Does the scroll wheel on the sticks work the same as the mouse wheel on X4? I tried using my x56 throttle and it just goes full speed and won't let me bind the throttle as the mouse wheel which is why I'm considering the upgrade

4:08 this is the perfect example why just looking at stat sheets is a bad idea. He calls one of the two best L miners in the game "not preferrable" just because the stats don't look appealing to him. Which is entirely subjective. Chtonios E shares the top spot with the Crane. Which one is better depends on station placement and how far the ships need to travel. Generally, the Chtonios outperforms the Crane as miners tend to travel relatively far distances unless you place your station right at the high yield resource locations. Crane is better if the resources are close by (<500ish km), Chtonios is better if they are not. Hull, Shields and turrets are pretty much irrelevant for miners. Give them laser towers and the best shields you can put on them, that's enough. They don't need to kill pirates or kha'ak. They only need to hold out long enough for your sector patrol to arrive and take care of the nuisances. Plus the AI is reluctant to attack L vessels so they will harass your large miners way less frequently than your medium miners.

They need to give us an option like "my comp sucks pls stop simulating the economy and give me a fake economy that doesn't tank my computer"

U know, i agree mostly. But there is only one but. If U will check GPU and CPU usage, most of the time it circles around 50%. Thats some optimisation problems.

Ok, so I came to a car dealership and bought myself a Mercedes. I was promised it'll go everywhere and will drive 160 km/h/. And it kinda does... But only for the first 5 kilometers. Then it drops to 40 km/h and when I come to car dealership they explain to me, that it is caused by, I don`t know, the engine moving this whole heavy car and it gets tired, and has to go slow to get some rest. I now understand the problem, but you know what doesn't change? I STILL HAVE THE PROBLEM. I don`t need to know WHAT the problem is, I need it gone. Because nobody told me before I bought the car that I need to get better roads around me you know, in order for it to drive as intended. And will I ever buy anything from this dealer?

Unscripted did an amazing job with this honest conference video. Bethesda is stuck in a decades, old outdated and antiquated design, philosophy and mechanic implementation. Over the past decade there have been competitors with lesser means that have far surpassed Bethesda star. we’ve got to stop grasping onto nostalgia and excusing this bull crap. But this potential is far beyond the results that they consistently put out over the past decade and they do it because we will give them access to our eyeballs and wallets regardless. We have to stop doing that, we have to stop incentivizing the wrong priorities because it always only produces results of disappointment and wasted potential.

I never had any Problems with performance in X4 to be honest.... and my PC is defenately not a high end rig.... just a RX 5700 XT with Ryzen 2700 X ....

I found something new. When s Ship is destroyed you can send a rescue for any survivors. I love it. I bit less afraid to send fleets to die. 😂

I have 65 marines to the enemies 34 defending and yet we lost >,< yes i save scummed but I am confused as to why I am not winning with nearly double the number. the ship hull is at 1% and I destroyed everything on it, but after they board and as they fight I lose ]=

Happy birthday, Cap 🎉. I have been playing the new expansion and jumping between the sandbox and timelines. I personally enjoy it. I can understand why people don't like it, but that was inevitable. It's a new way to play the game, and people either like it or they won't.

I refunded. The whole grind to unlock sectors upset me. And the reason it upset me is theres no hey do this to unlock this sector anywhere and the devs just say the content gets unlocked by playing timelines..... SO it could be destroy this station on this level to unlock and youll never know. I thought boron dlc was horrible but this one makes me not want to buy x5 or any future dlc. Im sure its not a big deal to most but if you buy a car and the dealership tells you first i need you to drive around town doing random things without telling you what unlocks the keys to your car most would say screw that. So why are players ok with paying for content that has to be unlocked some mysterious way without any info on what to do to unlock said sectors. No thanks egosoft. This is your Odysey moment. Elite never recovered and i doubt youll salvage this either
